4 Stage Career Development Programme
Our multi-stage Career Consultancy Programme will enable you to identify a clear career objective and then equip you with the necessary self-marketing tools and interview techniques to successfully achieve your career objective. You will be supported throughout by a team of professional career consultants who will have sufficient time and flexibility to meet your individual needs.

You don't have to undertake all four stages of our programme.
This programme is fully flexible; you can choose which stages would help you the most. We will be happy to help you to prepare a personal, bespoke programme based on your individual needs.

1. Focus
The Focus stage of the programme concentrates on what makes you marketable and what you want to do.
Your consultancy team will help you clarify what you want out of your career. You will also be guided, to help you summarise what you have to offer a potential employer. You will work closely with a qualified Life Coach and a Recruitment Consultant to decide upon your career priorities and find out exactly what you have to offer a potential employer.
We will then complete a skills analysis for you to identify your key and transferable skills. Your Career Consultant will also assist you to develop the tangible evidence to prove those skills.

2. Self Marketing
At the Self Marketing stage we will provide you with professionally produced marketing materials. These are designed specifically to support your career objectives, as well as demonstrate your skills and prove your capabilities.
Your set of marketing materials will include a CV or Portfolio CV, as well as a comprehensive set of self-marketing letters covering a range of applications. This can include setting your career objective and writing a profile. By clearly displaying your core competency skills we can attract your ideal employer.
You will work with your Career Consultant to establish the best way for you to market yourself to potential employers. We will look at the job market as a whole; then we research your target industry and employers. Then we discuss the most appropriate way for you personally to approach it.
Your Career Consultant will teach you how to ensure that your responses to press and online advertised positions are more effective. You will gain a valuable insight into the way in which head hunters and recruiters operate. You will also learn how to market yourself for success by using targeted direct approaches to organisations.

3. Preparation
The Preparation stage will provide you with the necessary techniques, to enable you operate to your full potential in all types of interviews.
You will work with your Career Consultant to ensure that you are thoroughly prepared for the types of interview you are most likely to face. We will help you to prepare and articulate your answers effectively for a wide range of interview questions including difficult, sensitive and salary related questions.
You will also learn effective approaches to salary negotiation that will enable you to secure the best package. You will increase your levels of personal impact and credibility at interviews through role play, practice and detailed objective feedback.
This support means that you will be able to prepare and present a thorough value proposition. By being clear and concise, you will immediately be more attractive to potential employers.

4. Job Search
During the Job Search stage of the programme your Career Consultant will assist you to prepare an effective job search campaign. This stage will also involve regular progress review meetings.
Your Career Consultant will also help you to write a comprehensive campaign plan. This can include setting clear goals, timescales and other relevant key performance indicators. Progress will be regularly reviewed and your campaign fine tuned, if necessary. We will provide advice, feedback and tactical input throughout your campaign.
You will be able to discuss all aspects of your campaign from tactics to motivation to job offers. When you decide to accept an offer, your consultant will help you to negotiate the best possible package.
Once you have secured your new position our Career Consultants will be available as a sounding board or mentor in those early weeks to ensure you make an effective transition to your new role. Support will be provided via email and telephone feedback.
You can also choose to continue working with your Career Consultant on an on-going Executive Coaching basis.
