CV Master Careers - Environmental Policy

Here at CV Master Careers, we recognise our responsibility to the environment and publish this policy to show our commitment to the protection of the environment. 

We carry out all of our company's activities and objectives in an environmentally responsible manner.  We have recognised that through our activities we inevitably impact on the environment. We consider that our main causes of concern arise from the use of energy, consumption of consumables and waste production. To address these impacts we have developed the following policies. 

Consumables

  • Whenever possible paper and other consumables used will be made from environmentally friendly, recycled material or from renewable resources.
  • CV Master Careers will ensure that where possible all in-house or promotional printing will be on recycled paper or paper made from renewable resources.
  • We try to minimise the amount of waste generated by reusing bags, boxes, ink cartridges and paper before we recycle it, wherever possible.
  • We recycle postage stamps and donate them to charity.
 

Energy

  • We will ensure that all vehicles used for business run on unleaded fuel, are fitted with catalytic converters and are in a good state of repair, to optimise fuel economy.
  • We have equipped our offices with efficient and low energy lighting.
  • We took the dramatic step to conduct all consultations by telephone and reduce traveling to meetings. This decision was taken to reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Heating and lighting is strictly controlled to minimise waste and we seek to use environmentally friendly energy supplies.

It is our policy to ensure that all personnel involved in the organisation's operations are fully aware of the company's environmental policy.

All employees will have appropriate training where the Managing Director ensures that each employee understands the environmental aspects and what they can do to help.  The policy is published in all of the CV Master Careers offices and is promoted to all of our employees. 

The Managing Director is the nominated person responsible for ensuring the environmental policy at CV Master Careers is adhered to.
