How does the CV Writing Service work?

We collect all the data we need during your consultation. We do not ask you to fill in any forms or questionnaires. Your CV is then written by an experienced professional CV writer. Once a draft has been completed it is sent to you for checking. Your consultant will make any necessary changes on your behalf. As soon as you approve the finished document your CV pack is dispatched.

Who will write my CV?

Your CV will be written by a REC qualified consultant with over 5 years of professional CV writing experience.

How much does it cost?

The price of the service varies according to the your salary level. Prices range from £57 to £1,247.

Why do you charge different amounts for different salary levels?

We need to charge enough to cover the time required to produce your CV. Obviously the amount of work required to produce a CV for a Chief Executive is vastly different to the time taken to produce a CV for a Graduate.

I have seen CV services charging as little as £30, why do you charge more?

You can get a CV prepared for around £30, but the chances are you will be wasting your money as it will only be a straightforward typing job. Think about it - realistically how can you get an experienced and qualified CV Consultant with extensive recruitment experience to spend the required time to produce a CV for a top level professional for only £30 when they would typically expect to earn upwards of £50 per hour. To have it done properly obviously costs more and it really does not pay to cut corners when it comes to your career. We regularly have to 'repair' the shoddy workmanship of other so called 'professional CV writers'.

How long will it take to write my CV?

Usually we have a draft ready for approval within 3 working days; this varies according to demand. If you require your CV urgently we do offer a 24 hour express service for an additional fee.

How will my CV be delivered?

UK Customers: Multiple copies of your CV will be delivered with a pack containing useful information for jobseekers. You will also be sent an electronic copy of your CV by e-mail.

Non-UK Customers: You will receive electonic copies of documents only. These will be delivered by e-mail.

Can you promise that I will get a job?

No. Our clients have found that they have gained more success in being invited for interviews after having their CV professionally written by us but we cannot guaruntee anyone will get a job, all we can do is help you to present your skills and experience in the best possible way.
