Effective Jobsearching
We have the widest range of supporting services for jobseekers on the internet and we are constantly innovating and designing new ways to impress and delight our clients.

We are keen to use our knowledge and experience to help you to reach your full potential - So how can you ensure that you are getting the best value for money?

We have produced this short 5 step guide to help you get the most out of your CV consultation.

1. Talk, talk, talk to your CV writer!

During the CV consultation, we want to hear all about you. This is your time to share your full employment history; even the jobs that you do not feel are relevant. At this stage we are just looking to get a full picture of you and your skills, experience and personality.

Provide us with as much information on your current and previous roles. Ideally, it would be great if you have a full job specification for your roles, but the consultation we provide will cover all of the relevant information. It also helps us if you share with us the details of the role you are applying for, or the one that you are looking to achieve.

The more information we have on the role that you are seeking the easier it is for us to write a more targeted CV for you. But don’t leave it at that, take the time to have a chat with your CV writer about the kind of person you really are, and what excites you!

These vital details are often the difference between you having a good CV or a great CV. We can bring your CV to life which will save you time and effort in as we will be able to pinpoint the right CV style and layout for you in double quick time.

2. Make sure you have all your information ready.

We can only write an amazing CV for you, detailing your skills and experience if you provide all the information that we need. It helps us to see your full career history and identify any transferable skills. The information we need can include dates of employment and education. We can always add these details in later but it makes sense to be prepared.

3. Ask questions!

Our clients often find themselves unsure of what skills and experience are transferable. We can look at your employment history and suggest new career paths or help you to discover new employment opportunities. If you want further assistance, we offer Career Coaching and Career Consultancy services for those who want more support.

We are always more than happy to give you the insight required to ensure that your CV, current job description, title, responsibilities and skills are pitched perfectly to your ideal employer.

4. Keep in touch with your consultant

We often call or email you if we need more information. If you are on a deadline, please let us know when you book the service. Please provide us with contact telephone numbers that we can reach you on. You can advise us of the best method and time to contact you. We will always try to stick to the details provided.

We will never contact you at work unless you specifically request us to. We will always use the utmost discretion when we contact you. If it is a bad time to talk or an issue comes up, please tell us and we will call back when it is more convenient.

5. Check your documents thoroughly

We will always endeavour to ensure that your documents are free from errors. However, it is your responsibility to check the draft through and advise us of any changes to be made. You can advise us by telephone or email. We will keep working on your CV until you are 100% happy with it.
