How The CV Writing Service Works

Step 1 - Place Your Order

One of our team will then contact you by phone or email to arrange a consultation at time convenient to you. We work evenings and weekend consultations can be arranged, so that we can fit your consultation in around your busy lifestyle. Your consultation can easily be conducted by telephone, email internet or post, you choose which method is best for you. If you would prefer to speak to someone in person you always have the option to upgrade to a face-to-face consultation*.

Step 2 - Consultation
Your consultation will take place at the arranged time. During the consultation we will talk to you in order to gain an understanding of your skills, experience and personality. This will take between 30 and 90 minutes, and will be conducted in person, over the telephone or by email. If your consultation is completed by telephone, you will have no forms to fill in.
You will deal with the same consultant throughout. Since we do not outsource any of our work, the consultant you speak with will be the person writing your CV.
Step 3 - Draft CV
Your CV will then be prepared by one of our professional CV writers. A first draft will normally be ready for your approval within 3 working days. A Next-Day Express CV Service is available for an extra fee (£25).
Once you have received your draft CV we recommend that you check it as soon as possible and contact your consultant by telephone or e-mail to discuss any changes you would like to make. If there are any alterations required these will be performed by your Professional CV Writer. Once any changes have been made, you can see another draft of your CV and give you final approval, before the final copies are printed.
Your completed CV Pack will be delivered by first class post. Your documents will also be delivered by e-mail in Microsoft Word 2003 (doc) and Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (PDF) format.

Repeat CVs (within 6 months of your initial consultation) will be CHARGED AT A REDUCED RATE.
Your documents will also be held on our database*. This enables you to easily update your CV in the future.
