CV Master Careers provides bespoke packages for staff facing redundancy. The services we offer will be completely tailored to the needs of your organisation, your staff and your budget. Services Available

We have successfully provided the following services to other organisations facing redundancies:

With the exception of the CV writing and mock interview services (which are more effective when delivered on a one-to-one basis), all support can be provided on an individual or group basis. Below you will find a brief summary of what each of these services involves.

CV Writing
We can write a CV for any member of staff based on information we gather from them during our consultation. The staff member will have the opportunity to view a draft of their CV as soon as it is complete, we will then work with them to make any changes required until they are completely happy with the document. Once complete they will receive a CV pack containing printed copies of their CV and electronic copies on CD ROM in MS Word and PDF formats.

CV Training
This can take the form of a one-to-one or group training session during which we can provide training to staff members on the different types of CV and how they should be used effectively. We will then work with them to significantly improve their current CV. We will also ensure that they are equipped with the tools to tailor their CV for future job applications.

Mock Interview
This can take this form of an individual one-to-one mock interview session, in person or over the telephone with feedback on performance.

Interview Coaching
This can be conducted one-to-one or in a group. We will educate staff members on what can be expected during the interview process, how to build confidence prior to interview and how to sell oneself effectively during the interview. We will also assist them to prepare answers for tough questions they may face. Each staff member will also receive relevant course material to take away with them containing further information on preparing for interviews.

Confidence Coaching
Our qualified life coach can work with staff members to improve their confidence so that they are ready for any challenges they may face. We can take through any barriers to success and set realistic goals, creating a personal action plan.

Job Search Support
We can work with staff members to help them organise their search for alternative employment, giving them up to date advice on how to succeed in today's employment market. We will also direct them to a range of job search tools such as internet job-boards and CV databases which will assist them to find a new role.

Follow Up Support
We will provide follow up support for each staff member on any issues they may face. This can include boosting confidence just before an interview or assisting with tailoring a CV for a new application. We can also provide reading material and exercises to help them continue their training on their own. This will be completed off site by telephone or email at a time convenient to the member of staff concerned.

All training and support will be delivered by staff holding MREC, CertRP or Certificate in Personal Performance Coaching qualifications.

Off-Site Preparation

Off-site preparation time is also included in the package, which covers:

  • Design and preparation of a bespoke support packages (including provision of course material for participants).
  • Preparation and research time prior to delivery of assistance sessions. This ensures that the advice and assistance given is tailored to the needs of your organisation.
  • Preparation of a report detailing training provided and evaluation of outcomes.

Costs

We can be very flexible in terms of the level of support offered and would be happy to put together a package to meet your requirements no matter how large or small. To give you a rough estimation of costs;

  • A very basic package could start from approximately £50 per head
  • For more in-depth support covering all the items mentioned above prices would be anywhere from £200 - £500 per head

N.B. Extra costs incurred (such as venue hire) are not included in the prices quoted above.
