Covering Letters

When you are applying for a new post you must always accompany your CV with a Covering Letter. A well written letter of introduction is just as important as a professional CV, especially if you are making a speculative application. We will be happy to prepare a professional letter to complement the style and tone of your CV and make you stand out from the crowd. Our consultants can prepare an effective Covering Letter for any type of application.

General Cover Letter

We can provide a General Cover Letter to introduce you to employers (this type of letter can be used to apply for various different roles)

A General Cover Letter costs £19

Targeted / Speculative Cover Letters

We can also provide a Targeted Cover Letter aimed at a specific vacancy or a Speculative letter aimed at a particular type of role. This type of Cover Letter is more expensive as it will take longer to prepare.

Other Letters/Emails

Not sure what to say or how to say it professionally? We can provide a letter for any situation (e.g. resignation, thank you letter, follow up letter). We will be happy to prepare any letters, emails or other forms of written correspondence which form part of your job application process. We now also offer a personal correspondence service.

Personal Statements

For some roles (such as teaching) you may be required to include a Personal Statement as part of your job application. This is an extended version of the personal profile included in your CV. Our writers are skilled in producing Personal Statements for inclusion in your job application. We can also produce effective personal statements for applications for study programmes and training contracts (e.g. law training contracts).
